Aubeterre-sur-Dronne
The roots of Tour de Canard lie in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, a picturesque little village on the border of the departments of Charente (16) and Dordogne (24) and located in between the cities of Angoulême and Périgueux. Because of its beautiful location and the historically significant monolithic church dating from the sixth century, Aubeterre has been named one of the "plus beaux villages de France". Many artists have settled here over the years, resulting in attractive studios and little shops throughout the village.

Tour de Canard
2CV gossip...
In 1974 an attempt to break a record took place on a famous Dutch television show. The question was ‘how many people will fit in a Citroën 2CV’? In total eighteen boys over fourteen years old found a place behind closed doors. More importantly, they all came out unscathed.
